Ram Charan Looking For Projects In Hollywood!

Ram Charan has been creating ripples across the Telugu film industry with his visit to Hollywood interviews ahead of the Oscars event. The actor is handling the interviews with ease and always giving the credit to Indian cinema rather than just highlighting the RRR or Rajamouli.

In the very prestigious ABC News interview, Ram Charan spoke about his wish and willingness to work on Hollywood projects and he hoped he would be getting some calls and meetings in LA soon.

In the interview with ABC News, Ram Charan was asked how it feels to enjoy the international success of RRR and what was the whole process it has been all these years with RRR making, ‘Ram Charan said, ‘When we have thought that the movie was well received in India it was an overwhelming feeling, real and unreal at the same time. We have always enjoyed your films and to dream to be part of your (Hollywood) films and to get that kind of respect and acknowledgment is heartwarming.’

Ram Charan was being very careful with his words and he maintained the humble and modest man he is. When RRR was called a ‘Hollywood success’, Charan said, ‘I don’t know if I can call it a Hollywood success, but Hollywood has a big heart to accept international films and respect as much as they respect the original Hollywood films.

Charan mentioned Naatu Naatu as one of the most difficult songs that he has shot.

When asked what he thinks it will feel like if it (Naatu Naatu) wins the oscar, Ram Charan says, ‘I think I won’t believe it. You have to wake me up and shove me up onto the stage to take it. I will be the happiest. I will be happy for India. It is 80 years+ in Indian cinema and we are the first to be nominated for academy awards. I don’t think it is just our success, it is the Indian film industry’s success. I really mean it.

Charan responded to the question on his next projects if they are in India or US. He said, ‘I already committed to a couple of projects in India, but I am looking at projects to work outside India as well. I want the directors here to experience the talent in India, and we also want to be part of your industry. I hope we get some good calls and meetings when we go to LA now.’

It looks like Charan will be seriously looking for some Hollywood projects to work on, and it may not be a difficult task after RRR’s Oscar nomination and worldwide fame.
