‘Aunty’ Comments On Anasuya, Yesteryear Actress Condemns

Anasuya is one actress who never hesitates to condemn and ridicule nasty comments on social media. Anasuya was so fed up with the trolls, that she went to the cyber crime police to complain about them. The negativity also includes the trolls calling her ‘Aunty’.

A yesteryear actress Kasthuri responded to the trolls against Anasuya in a recent interview. Kasthuri said that kids calling women aunty is different from grownups commenting women as ‘aunty’. ‘Kids calling women ‘aunties’ is out of respect, but when an adult does that it is vulgar. There are many senior men actors in the industry, but they were never called uncles,’ said Kasthuri.

‘There have been ugly meanings to the word ‘aunty’ of late and if somebody is calling Anasuya ‘aunty’ it is definitely not out of respect but to insult her with a nasty sense’, concluded Kasthuri.

Kasthuri also commented on trolls who tried to make fun of NTR’s American accent during the Golden Globe Awards event in the US. She said there is no mistake in NTR trying the American accent and it is not correct to troll him.
