Other day it has been a great evening for Hyderabad music lovers as none other than the real music legend, Maestro Ilayaraja hosted a live-in concert at the famous Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad. Despite the fact that the show has seen a host of celebs like hero Nani and star director Harish Shankar, here is the talk being heard about this show.
Apparently, the show has Megastar Chiranjeevi’s voice giving a wholesome welcome to Ilayaraja and then the audience gets overwhelmed by his music, but apart from that, there are no stars present. None of the biggest stars of Tollywood, of which two of them are not in Hyderabad, but the rest are in the city, and they have not turned up even as a friendly gesture for the composer who delivered superhits to their family members.
At the same time, star filmmakers and star heroines also didn’t make it to the event though they are in Hyderabad. While most of them are invited to the show, only the likes of Manchu Lakshmi and Eesha Rebba turned up. One thing is sure, some of the current generation folks don’t even know about the greatness of Ilayaraja, but they have turned up en masse at the concert. However, those folks in Tollywood whose careers built up on his songs, haven’t really made it there, a few who have turned up at the event expressed.
