‘Mangalavaaram’ concept poster sets the bar high!

In ‘RX 100’, which was his debut movie, director Ajay Bhupathi deftly handled the film’s full-blown action and angsty beats. His characters were intense and purposive, his treatment of romance was captivating. He deployed the theme of deception so well. He is now doing a concept-based movie and its title is ‘Mangalavaaram’. If you are wondering what it is about, the makers want you to wait for some time to know what the film is all about.

Its concept poster, released a while ago, conceals more than it reveals. The image of a woman and a colourful butterfly might mean that this is a film populated by free-spirited characters. And it seems the director is giving precedence to characters more than actors. He has written thirty characters, each relevant in their own right!

It is safe to assume that Bhupathi, who is also producing the movie along with Swathi Gunupati and Suresh Varma M of Mudhra Media Works, is making this multi-lingual pan-South India outing into a potential box-office winner.

With music by B Ajaneesh Loknath of ‘Kantara’ fame, the genre-oriented film brings together a set of proven talents. Art director Raghu Kulkarni, sound designer Raja Krishnan, and cinematographer Dasaradhi Sivendra are in. Bhupathi has floated A Creative Works for this project. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
