In the wake of some fans fighting over Ram Charan being called ‘Global Star’, an old lyric written by the same “Naatu Naatu” lyricist, award-winning lyric writer Chandrabose years ago, are going viral now. And amidst the ‘global star’ thing spiraling into a big fight between fans of NTR and Ram Charan, here is what the lyrics are saying.
Apparently, in the hero introduction song of the film “Rachha” which was released in 2011, Chandrabose wrote the lyrics, “He is going to be a google star, He is going to be a global star”, for the song that goes with the film title. Talking about the same director Sampath Nandi is promoting himself as he wrote, “A decade ago when I was writing the intro sequence for Ram Charan in Racha, Chandrabose Anna rightly came up with the term ‘Global Star’. Today the entire world is calling him so. Coincidentally, Chandra Bose Anna and Prem Rakshit who choreographed Rachha title song are a part of RRR’s triumph too”.
Of course, the very same Chandrabose and Prem Rakshit played a major role in “Naatu Naatu” song which is now nominated for Oscars as well. And now, these lyrics and that song bit are trending on the internet, while the fight around it from fans is happening big time. Now many videos featuring Charan’s visit to the USA are being promoted with this old ‘Rachha’ song.
No doubt, promoting their favourite hero and showering love on him is good, but hope these fans don’t irritate fans of other heroes with their silly acts.
