Dhamaka Played In Dhamki Theatre; Vishwak Reacts

Vishwak Sen’s Dhamki was released the other day on the occasion of Ugadi. Ever since the trailer of this movie was released, people started comparing it to Ravi Teja’s Dhamaka. The plot line looked similar and coincidentally, Prasanna Kumar Bezawada is the writer of both films.

Meanwhile, Vishwak also addressed these rumours in a promotional event of the movie. He said that it is in no way similar to Dhamaka and is completely a different story. However, the comparisons between Dhamaka and Dhamki didn’t stop.

It went to such a level that a theatre in Vishakapatnam played Dhamaka instead of Dhamki. Reportedly, Dhamaka was screened yesterday during the morning show instead of Dhamki at Vizag’s Sukanya theatre. Apparently, the management was confused by the titles of both films.

Audiences were baffled to see Dhamaka’s title cards when they went to watch Dhamki. Immediately, it went to the management’s notice and they changed the film.

The video clip of this incident went viral on social media. It even reached Vishwak Sen. Quoting the viral video, Vishwak tweeted, “Confused? That’s ok! Happens.”

Das Ka Dhamki was directed by Vishwak himself. It features Nivetha Pethuraj as the female lead. Rao Ramesh, Prudhvi Raj, Hyper Aadi, Mahesh and Rohini played other key roles in it.
