Buzz: Oppenheimer To Be Nolan’s Lengthiest Film

Maverick filmmaker Christopher Nolan is currently busy with the works of his upcoming film Oppenheimer. This is the biographical drama based on the life of eminent theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, who is also known as the father of the atom bomb. The film is an adaption of the book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer, written by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin.

Peaky Blinders fame Cillian Murphy is essaying the role of Oppenheimer in the movie. According to the latest buzz, the runtime of this film will be around 3 hours and it will be the longest film in Nolan’s career. His current longest film is Interstellar, which had a runtime of 2 hours and 50 minutes.

Going by the runtime rumours, it looks like Nolan will be presenting a lengthy visual saga for all his fans and the rest of the audience. It is shot in the IMAX format.

Oppenheimer features Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr, Florence Pugh and Rami Malek in pivotal roles. It will be released on July 21, 2023, in IMAX, 70MM, and 35MM film formats.
