Wow! Bathukamma Song In Salman Khan’s Movie

The potential and power of Telugu films and the Telugu market are something that the world is understanding just now. And Bollywood has seen the power of it first hand, and right now they are making sure to include even a Telugu song in their movies. That starts with Salman Khan first. 

Whenever thinking about the south, always Bollywood films used to showcase Tamil culture and Tamil songs in many of the movies. But now, in Salman Khan’s upcoming film “Kisi Ka Bhai, Kisi Ki Jaan”, there is this Telugu song that is woven around the Bathukamma festival. First of all, taking a Telugu song is a stunner and now including it in the festival of Bathukamma that is celebrated in the Telangana region is a great thing. 

While Pooja Hegde danced to this Bathukamma tune composed by Ravi Basrur of KGF fame, Venkatesh and Bhumika also has shaken a leg in it. The senior hero and heroine play brother and sister-in-law to Pooja Hegde. But the surprising thing in the song is the appearance of Salman Khan in pattu lungi with ’gandham bottu’ on his head. 

Though all the songs from this movie, which happens to be a remake of Pawan Kalyan’s Katamarayudu, got trolled big time, the Bathukamma song might be well received. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, directed by Farhad Samji of Housefull 4 and Bachhan Panday fame, is hitting cinemas on April 21st.
