Balayya’s Film Goes To Amazon, Here’s Why!

One of the big surprises that Tollywood is going to witness soon is none other than Nandamuri Balakrishna’s next, #NBK108, which is being helmed by star director Anil Ravipudi. The film is going to be a mass action feast with Balayya reciting his lines in the Telangana dialect. And here comes an interesting snippet.

News is all over that the OTT rights of #NBK108 were acquired by Amazon Prime Video, though Balayya’s films are usually taken up by Hotstar. They say that Anil Ravipudi is the reason behind this. A piece of info has that Amazon folks made sure to acquire #NBK108 through Anil’s way, convincing him that all of these works are present on their platform.

Anil’s previous movies like F2, Sarkaaru Vaari Paata and Raja The Great were all acquired by Prime Video only, while F3 was sold to Netflix by Dil Raju. Even the producers of Balayya’s #108 have earlier sold their movies like Majili and Tuck Jagadish to Amazon only. That way Balayya’s film has finally reached Amazon. Reports are doing rounds that the film was acquired for nearly ₹36 crores.
