Samantha’s Loss Is Rashmika’s Gain!

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the star heroines in the South. She is currently busy promoting her next film titled, Shakuntalam. Meanwhile, she is in the news for some other news, which is very surprising. Reportedly, Samantha was offered an interesting film which she turned down, and another actress grabbed it. The film in discussion now is titled Rainbow.

Rainbow was first offered to Samantha, but she couldn’t do it as her schedule went haywire due to health issues. Samantha had to let go off a few, and Rashmika bagged her first female-centric film. It looks like this is the back story of how Rashmika bagged the project.

Directed by debutant Shantharuban, Rainbow is a breezy romantic fantasy. Coincidentally, Samantha’s co-star in Shaakuntalam, Dev Mohan, is a part of the film as the male lead.

SR Prabhu and SR Prakash Babu produce Rainbow under Dream Warrior Pictures. The regular shooting of Rainbow will commence on April 7.

Though Samantha did not sign this film, she already has a couple of other female-centric films. But this is the first female-centric film for Rashmika, and we have to see how she will deal with it. She will definitely enter the big league of heroines if it becomes a hit.

We have to see if the Rainbow turns colorful for Rashmika.
