Bholaa & Dasara: Bollywood Urges Not To Compare

Natural Star Nani’s latest film “Dasara” is doing well at the box office with the masses rolling out a red carpet for the same and the film grossed hugely. While the film is not making huge at the Bollywood box office, right now, some folks are comparing how the Telugu star has outdone Bollywood biggies, and that is irking folks from Mumbai.

Alongside Nani’s Dasara, Bollywood has seen Ajay Devgan’s Bholaa, a remake of Karthi’s superhit Khaidi, got released. And the film is making good money, but then, for a film of that huge range, definitely these collections are not enough. And here’s the catch. As per Bollywood trade pundits, while Dasara approximately ₹10 cr nett more than that of Bholaa in the first week. Some Bollywood directors like Vivek Agnihotri (The Kashmir Files fame) have commented that B-town stars are being paid in crores but that money is getting wasted as they are not getting openings.

However, some Bollywood folks are urging not to compare Bholaa and Dasara, because Bholaa is a remake of a South film and that has dented the chances of it. Whatever is said and done, remaking the film in the right way will result in Drishyam 2 like outcome, while not taking of the emotional aspects properly will result in only flops.
