Apparently, mass raja Raviteja is not happy with the result of “Ravanasura” which got washed out at the box office on the first Monday itself. A buzz is coming out that the actor is hugely upset with the result though he always takes the results with a pinch of salt and in a positive way. There is a reason for his disappointment.
In this age of OTT platforms, the audience is watching many movies that have differently-styled negative characterisations of the main lead, and content that is a bit negative. From web series like Money Heist to India’s Sacred Games and Farzi, these negative characterisations, grey shades and a bit of rudeness worked out big time. Hoping that even he will be liked in such roles, Raviteja is said to have accepted Ravanasura. But then, the loopholes in the screenplay haven’t saved the actor from tasting a disaster.
Right now, Raviteja is said to be assessing the failure of the film in terms of story and screenplay by sitting with a team of his good friends who are good directors and writers in the film industry. The actor wants to know the real reason for the failure of the movie as he has bet huge on the movie and promoted that director Sudheer Varma and writer Srikanth Vissa has crafted a Hollywood standard film through Ravanasura.
On the other hand, Raviteja wants to wrap the shooting of Tiger Nageswara Rao at the earliest as he is betting big on the biopic of this Stuartpurram dacoit who is said to have looted running trains for years but later suffered heavily in his life.
