Big Surprise: Yash Chooses Content Over Scale For His Next?

The sensational Sandalwood blockbuster, KGF Chapter 2, completes one year of its pan-Indian success today. On this special day, here’s an exciting update on the film’s hero Yash’s highly-anticipated next project. Until recently, rumours were rife that Yash’s 19th movie will be directed by Shankar.

But the latest buzz has it that Yash is in advanced talks with the National Award-winning Malayalam actress-director Geethu Mohandas. Apparently, Yash and Geethu have been in talks for the past one year, and the Rocking Star is said to have been highly impressed with the concept narrated by Geethu.

The final script narration will take place in a couple of weeks, and an official announcement is expected to be out in May. If things fall into place as being speculated, the project will be going on floors in June. Name of the production house behind this surprise project is under wraps.

Geethu Mohandas is an actress in the Malayalam film industry. She had won 2 National Awards for her directorial debut film, Liar’s Dice, which was also India’s official entry for the Best Foreign Film category at the 87th Academy Awards.
