Suriya Turns A Warrior For His Next ‘Kanguva’

Suriya’s 42nd film has been titled “Kanguva”, which is a familiar title chosen to appeal to a larger audience. The actor shared a 1 minute 13 second teaser video on his Instagram handle, showing him as a mighty warrior on a battlefield, riding atop a horse. The teaser also features an eagle and a dog, adding to the intrigue.

Directed by Suriya’s close collaborator K Gnanavel Raja, the film stars Disha Patani in the lead female role and has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The big-budget medieval warrior epic is set to release in early 2024 and the teaser is scheduled to be unveiled in May.

After “Kanguva”, Suriya will collaborate with Sudha Kongara later this year, following his previous film “Etharkkum Thunindhavan”, which was directed by Pandiraj and starred Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female protagonist.

Fans are eagerly anticipating Suriya and Disha Patani’s performances in this film.
