‘Agent’ Comparison With ‘Pathaan’ : Good Or Bad?

The trailer of “Agent” got released other day, and it made an intense impact everywhere for its visual brilliance, a thing we often feel in Surender Reddy’s movies. More than Akhil’s stunts and six-pack look, it is the comparison with Shahrukh Khan’s Pathaan movie that is actually surprising everyone though. And here is what we have to say.

Agent seems to be a stylish thriller with a focus on espionage and action sequences, which is actually quite relatable to what is shown in “Pathaan” movie. Of course, when the trailer of Pathaan was released, people said that there is only action content in the film and when the film was released, the same comment repeated again. However, the slick action thrills are the ones that actually impressed the audience, which led Pathaan to a ₹1000 crores collection. So if things work, even Akhil’s Agent might work out in the same way at the box office. On that note, we could say that comparison with Pathaan is a boost for Agent.

All said and done, Akhil is looking forward to scoring the first blockbuster of his career with Agent, ever since he made his debut with Akhil-The Power Of Jua long back.
