I Know A Few Things About Agent: Nagarjuna

Akhil Akkineni’s spy action thriller is due for release this week on 28th April. Meanwhile, the film’s pre-release event was held in Warangal in presence of a huge crowd and a few special guests, including Nagarjuna.

Surender Reddy said, “I was born in Karimnagar district and came to Warangal for my education. Then, I shifted to Hyderabad to pursue my career in the film industry. I was trying to hold an event in Warangal and it happened finally because of Anil garu. Everyone is talking about Akhil’s transformation for Agent. But I’ve seen robustness in him. I hope I fulfilled what I promised Akhil.”

Akhil said, “Dino, welcome to the madness. Thank you, Nanna, for coming here. It’s 2 years of a journey for me. Suri Bhai and I met each other 2 and a half years ago. We wanted to do something crazy. We definitely did something crazy. I had this question in my mind what should I do next, after this extreme high in Agent? More than the physical makeover, I became strong mentally in this journey.

I thank this journey which made me stand strong today. Anil Sunkara garu, thanks for making the movie on such a high budget. We all worked hard to give that madness that you are going to see in cinemas. Mammootty sir accepting this movie alone is a big thing for us. He never accepted such a project earlier.”

Nagarjuna said, “Telugu audiences are great. Whenever we come up with a new genre and a good movie, you make it a blockbuster. Surender Reddy attempted a new genre of a thriller and spy. I did’t watch the movie yet. I didn’t even know the story. I, however, came to know a few things about the movie through Akhil. Agent will have every element to cherish all sections. Surender Reddy made many blockbusters earlier and he surely has made it well. Anil Sunkara didn’t compromise in making the movie. You’ll see spectacular visuals.

When Mammootty accepted this movie, I thought it would become a hit. He doesn’t easily accept movies. He completed his dubbing part, though his mother passed away 3 days ago. Though you’re seeing Akhil’s energy now, we’ve seen it since his childhood. His mother even took him to the hospital when he was 8 months old. We haven’t seen such energy in our family.

I should thank Surender for displaying that energy which is visible. I’ve seen Akhil’s hard work almost every day. It’s not easy to get that physique in 9 months in a natural method.”
