One of the biggest flops in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s career is none other than Acharya directed by Koratala Siva, while the actor is said to be not happy even with his first-ever costume drama Sye Raa which was carved by Surender Reddy. Now that he has scored a big hit with Waltair Veerayya, one wonders why those previous films are impacting him so much.
The impact is in such a way that Chiranjeevi doesn’t want to work with superstar directors and also senior filmmakers. He has films that will be directed by the likes of Vasishta, PS Mitran, and Kalyan Krishna Kurasala, but hasn’t given a chance to seniors like Puri Jagan and VV Vinayak, though those directors are chasing him for some time.
Insiders revealed that Megastar doesn’t want to team up with them because he feels that senior directors are blindly going to the sets without even taking his input. The actor got confident that his input will make the film work big time and that’s why KS Bobby directed Waltair Veerayya clicked at the box office.
Well, picking up young and upcoming directors is a good thing to do as the newest filmmakers will always show a new angle in the matinee idol.
