Shocker To Rahman Concert In Pune

Who wouldn’t enjoy the legendary composer AR Rahman’s live-in concert? Definitely crowds are going berserk over his concerts where he will play his own old songs. However, not all the time the mozart of Madras gets that stunning support from all quarters.

The other night, an ongoing concert of Oscar-winning music director AR Rahman in Pune had to come to a sudden end after passing beyond 10 pm. With a surprise appearance by police officers on stage asking Rahman and his team to cease the show due to breaching the deadline, footage of this event has since gone viral on social media platforms.

Bundgarden Police Station Inspector Santosh Patil confirms receiving the request and affirms that Rahman reacted positively towards it. Fortunately, no case has been registered regarding such an incident.

Regarding the incident, A R Rahman expressed his appreciation to fans on Twitter in Pune, conveying the message that “Pune! Thank you for Last night’s concert – it was such an amazing journey. No surprise classical music thrives in Pune! We look forward to seeing you all again soon.”

But there was much disapproval at the interruption of Rahman’s concert. While rules are essential, many people believed that he should have been granted an exemption. Moreover, some still recollect and react to his earlier controversy, where he asked his wife to only speak Tamil and not Hindi, resurfaced in some trolling comments such as “Have you stopped singing HINDI songs and giving music to Bollywood?”
