Allari Naresh and Vijay Kanakamedala’s highly intense cop drama Ugram is making a strong buzz ahead of the release. The movie produced by Shine Screens is set for release on 5th of this month. Meanwhile, Naresh interacted with the media today.

Naresh affirms neither comedy nor serious movies are safe zones. “But there is a difference. Sudigadu, Bendu Apparao and Kithakithalu, all were big hits. The audience appreciate the movie. But when they see the films like Gamyam, Shambho Shiva Shambho and Maharshi, they appreciate my performance.”

He sounds very confident about the success of the movie. “After watching Ugram, everyone will talk about each craft separately. Sricharan worked hard for almost two and a half months. The writers, art director, editor, and DOP, all worked together as a team. We have worked 10 times more to meet the expectations.”

Allari Naresh will be seen as a cop with three different variations. “The story happens in the time limit of 5 years. I fall in love with a girl during SI training. I get married and then get a promotion as a CI. Finally, I’ll be seen with short hair. I needed to scream and shout for certain scenes. Vijay used to tell me that the nerves should be visible in intense scenes. Ugram is a mentally and physically challenging film.”

He says to make films under EVV Cinema banner. “I also have a wish to direct movies. But it may not happen soon. Moreover, I won’t act in movies I direct.”
