Superstar Rajinikanth is a part of his daughter Aishwarya’s directorial debut titled “Lal Salaam”. A poster featuring Rajini’s first look has been released, which also reveals his character. Rajini is seen wearing a Chinese collar brown blazer, a skull cap, and sporting a beard with black shades, giving him a distinct look.
The first look poster also reveals a crucial detail. Rajini is walking in front of the India Gate in Mumbai with violent events taking place in the background, suggesting communal conflict. “Lal Salaam” stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in lead roles, and Rajini is said to be playing an extended guest role. His character in the movie is named Moideen Bhai.
Director Aishwarya tweeted, “Honoured and blessed appa! The entire team of #LalSalaam always needs your blessings!” The film is currently being shot, and the makers are aiming for a December release.
“Lal Salaam” is an AR Rahman musical and is produced by Lyca Productions.
