Young beauty Kriti Shetty made her debut with the 2021 blockbuster Uppena. She scored another super hit with her second film Shyam Singha Roy. However, she couldn’t sustain the momentum as she scored four flops on a trot after that movie.
In 2022, Kriti was seen in Bangarraju, The Warrior, Macherla Niyojakavargam and Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali. Among these flicks, Bangarraju remained as a below-average venture. The rest three films ended up as colossal disasters. All of a sudden, Kriti lost her stardom in no time.
Now, she is pinning all hopes on her upcoming film Custody. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, this movie features Naga Chaitanya as the lead hero.
Speaking in a recent interview, Kriti said that she got a meaty role in the movie and she is excited for its release. Apparently, the actress also performed gymnastics in the film. She stated that she was specially trained in gymnastics to perform in those scenes. Additionally, Kriti also took part in underwater sequences and got trained in that aspect as well.
On the whole, Kriti seems to have worked hard for this movie. We have to see if it can bring back her to the top league. Custody is slated for a worldwide release on May 12.
