Avatar, Bhediya, Bramastra and Adipurush are highly-anticipated big-budgeted VFX films that have created quite a stir in the Indian cinema industry. The producers of these films generally do not offer any discounts or deals related to their ticket sales as to recover their movie funds. However, T-Series recently announced a ‘Buy 1 Get 1 Offer’ for Adipurush, raising questions about the movie’s content. Could this be an indication of the concern held by its creators?
When the teaser of the movie was initially released, there was significant criticism of its VFX. In response to this reaction, the release date for this mythological film was changed. However, it seems that viewers’ opinions have shifted; many viewers have been impressed after viewing the trailer.
However, Adipurush’s marketing team is breaking new ground with their approach to promoting the movie. It will be interesting to see if this unconventional strategy is successful and if Prabhas manages to beat his own Baahubali records. On the other hand the offer is also raising doubts if the makers are bit worried about the final content. We have our fingers crossed that it all works out and he makes some new records!
