Mahesh & Trivikram Choose Amaravati!

Amaravati may not be in CM Jagan’s preference for the capital of Andhra Pradesh. However, Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu and ace director Trivikram Srinivas have preferred Amaravati. As per T-town sources, the title of Trivikram and Mahesh Babu’s next is going to have Amaravati as the title. The film revolves around a story set in Andhra Pradesh’s Amaravati. Considering this, Trivikram is toying with the idea of naming the film after Amaravati. Since the Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo director is known for putting chaste Telugu titles, he is also choosing a pure Telugu title for SSMB 28 with Mahesh.

As per sources, ‘Amaravati Ki Atu Itu’ is the title in consideration for SSMB 28. Sources confirmed that this is one of the titles in the shortlisted list. The makers are also thinking of other options. “Nothing has been finalised yet,” said the source in the know. It can be noted that Guntur was also considered in a title before, but that has been dropped now.

Amaravati might be at the centre of political controversy in Andhra Pradesh as the ruling YSRCP vowed to shift the capital from Amaravati to Visakhapatnam whereas opposition TDP is vowing to make Amaravati as the capital for Sunrise state of Andhra Pradesh. Amidst this, the title of SSMB 28 is certainly raising a lot of curiosity and attention.
