Superstar Rajinikanth’s Shock To Bobby!

There were reports that Rajinikanth would team up with director Bobby who just scored a hit with Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja’s Waltair Veerayya. It was officially announced and widely reported that Bobby would direct Rajini for #Thalaivar70, a Telugu-Tamil bilingual film on a grand scale.

The film was supposed to be produced by Dil Raju who made Vijay’s Varisu aka Vaarasudu. But as per the latest reports, Rajini has dropped the plan to work with Bobby. While the exact reasons are not known, Rajini reportedly walked out of the film. This is indeed a big shock to Bobby and Raju. This has dashed the hopes of Bobby.

This is not Rajini’s first shock to Dil Raju. Earlier, there were also reports of Rajinikanth teaming up with Bimbisara director Vasishta. But those also ended up as mere news reports and nothing concrete shaped up. In fact, due to these talks with Rajinikanth, Kalyanram had moved onto another director for Bimbisara 2.

Finally, Vasishta is now planning to make films with Chiranjeevi and Balayya respectively. He has some interesting projects lined up as he walked out of Bimbisara 2 gently. Overall, Rajini is giving shock after shock to Telugu directors and producer Dil Rjau. We have to wait and watch whether Rajini would honour his word to Dil Raju or not.
