Talented beauty Aishwarya Rajesh, who hails from Chennai and is a native Telugu speaker, was widely recognised for her performance in World Famous Lover starring Vijaya Devarakonda. Her new Tamil language thriller drama Farhana has achieved immense success and critical acclaim. Recently, Aishwarya decided to focus more on the Tamil and Malayalam film industries and she has become a go-to actress for non-glamorous roles or films with socio-political messages.
While Aishwarya was promoting her recently released movie ‘Farhana’ when she was asked about her interest in doing Telugu films, she revealed that multiple roles were offered to her in the Telugu industry and is looking for one that can make her parents proud due to her roots. Unfortunately, World Famous Lover didn’t turn out as expected. When asked about a role she believes would best suit her, she responded with “I would have liked to play Pushpa’s Srivalli; Rashmika did a good job but I think I’d be a better fit.” Aishwarya further stated that if ideal projects come along, then she’d love to work in Telugu films.
During this year, she has been involved with the production of eight movies, which have Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films as well.
