Will Sobhan Break The Jinx?

Santosh Sobhan is a good actor. But luck didn’t favour him so far. Some of his films got decent buzz on OTT. However, none of his films have done well at the theatres. Be it Like Share Subscribe or Kalyanam Kamaneeyam or Sridevi Shoban Babu, the films failed to drew crowds to cinemas. All this mount pressure on the young hero. Santosh is pinning high hopes on this week’s release Anni Manchi Sakunamule.

Now, Anni Manchi Sakunamule is making right noise. The film’s unique promotions and promising trailer and content is bringing a lot of hope. If the film gets good word of mouth and the added promotions boost up, it is going to be advantage. Considering that none of the films worked at theatres barring Virupaksha and Dasara, there is a huge vacuum at cinemas.

This Summer needs one nice entertainment and family movie. This is what being eyed by the makers of Anni Manchi Sakunamule. Let’s wait and see whether AMS will overturn the fate of Santosh Sobhan or not. It’d be good if more young actors make inroads into theatre revenues as it’d be advantage for several producers and directors.
