#FactCheck: Seat Next To Hanuman Costs Thousands?

With the release inching in, the rumours around Superstar Prabhas’ Adipurush are also piling up regarding various things. The latest is about the price of the ticket for the seat that is next to the one which will be left vacant for Lord Hanuman. And it looks like these rumours have shot up to an ultimate level now.

Apparently, a talk in Bollywood circles started to spread that the seat next to Lord Hanuman seat in Adipurush theatres will be sold at ₹10,000. And some big Bollywood portals also reported that the demand for this seat is pretty high from business circles and rich folks in states like Uttar Pradesh. While the demand is there for sure, the ticket price is something that the film’s original producer T-Series clarified.

“There are misleading reports circulating in the media regarding #Adipurush ticket pricing. We want to clarify that there will be no differences in rates for seats next to the one reserved for Hanuman Ji! Don’t fall for false information! Jai Shri Ram!”, the production house tweeted last night.

However, ground reports are saying that many people are offering a ‘black’ price for the seat next to the one that will be offered to Lord Hanuman. For the uninitiated, whenever Ramayana is recited, Lord Hanuman will come to watch it, so a seat in the theatres screening Adipurush is being left unoccupied.
