Anupama Signs RoadMovie!

Anupama Parameswaran might have had her share of successes. Yet she is in lookout for some interesting films to push her to the next level. After Karthikeya 2 and 18 Pages, Anupama has signed a female-oriented film. She is going to headline a travel drama. It is going to be directed by Praveen Kandregula of Cinema Bandi fame. Director says that it is a new-age road movie which hasn’t been made so far.

Anupama is impressed with the story narrated by Praveen and given her the go ahead. The travel drama also stars Sangita and Darshana Ragendran. The film has adventurous elements and it depends on the performances of the lead actors.

Travel films are rare in Tollywood. Films like Highway and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara were hit in Hindi. Such films haven’t come in Telugu. But makers are aiming for an out-of-box experience with a travel drama laced with interesting elements with the female lead. Anupama who is choosy has signed this film.
