‘Young Heroes Are Useless, Not Able To Romance’

‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ produced by star heroine Kangana Ranaut has become troll material ever since the trailer release because netizens started to troll the lead pair as 49-year-old Nawazuddin Siddiqui locked lips with 21-year-old television starlet Avneet Kaur. But then, the hero has something else to say regarding this age difference and it is a big shot back we have to say.

“Romance is ageless. These are the times when people love and break up on Whatsapp. We are from an era of romance, so we could still romance on the screen too. Why is Shahrukh Khan very good at romance even now? Because young heroes and generation is useless in that aspect” said Nawazuddin, other day at a press conference. While the film is heading for a straight OTT release on June 23rd, this particular statement from the talented actor is now going viral, giving more attention to the movie.

At a time when critics and audiences are pointing at the age gap between lead pair on the screen, surely this answer is something that made some sense. But then, taking a dig at the whole of the new generation might push Nawazuddin more into the bad books of troll groups. But then, we have to see if younger generation heroes will respond to these comments.
