What Mr Perfect Director Says On Ustaad Bhagat Singh

For a long time, director Harish Shankar has maintained umpteen silence if he is making an original movie with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan or remaking something. But then, director Dasarath has given sudden entry into the picture and his interview with a leading Telugu daily couple of months back has spilled the beans.

While Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh is said to be an original commercial film, right now, the one Harish Shankar is making with Powerstar, Ustaad Bhagat Singh, is a remake of the Tamil superhit film Theri which already got released in Telugu as policodu. Earlier, Dasarath confirmed the same as he is working as a screenplay writer for the project. As fans questioned it, Harish chose not to respond to any tweets from the fans since then. But now, Dasarath has initiated the damage control mode, saying that Harish has made ample changes to the script, to make sure that this looks like an original creation.

The director of films like Santosham and Mr Perfect hailed Harish Shankar for revamping the total script of Theri and coming up with something that will suit only Pawan Kalyan. Whatever was said and done, the teaser that was released already has created lots of buzz for the movie as Pawan Kalyan’s swag as a Telangana dialect speaking police inspector created thrills.
