After struggling to succeed in the Telugu film industry for the past few years, Avika Gor decided to try her luck in Bollywood. Her latest film, “1920: Horrors of the Hearts,” a part of the popular horror franchise 1920, created by Mahesh and Vikram Bhatt, was released on June 23.
Avika hoped this movie would mark a turning point in her career. However, to her dismay, the latest installment of “1920” received a poor response from the audience. The storyline revolves around a young girl discovering that her mother was responsible for her father’s death. The film follows her quest for revenge with the assistance of her father’s spirit.
Unfortunately, “1920: Horrors of the Hearts” fails to captivate the audience with its lack of interesting elements. It lacks the intended scares and thrills, relying on clichéd twists, ineffective jump scares, and subpar visual effects. It is considered an arduous viewing experience.
Despite being made on a budget of Rs. 28 crores and generating pre-release business of Rs. 35 crores, the film only managed to collect approximately Rs. 1.5 crores on its opening day.
Consequently, it is projected to be a significant box office failure.
