Virender Sehwag Trolls Prabhas’ Adipurush

Former cricketer Virender Sehwag has gained recognition for his impressive batting skills and his sharp and humorous wit. Following his retirement, Sehwag rose to fame on social media with his witty and sarcastic tweets. He frequently shares sarcastic remarks on various subjects, and his latest target is Adipurush.

He said that after watching Adipurush, he realized why Kattappa killed Baahubali. “Adipurush dekhkar pata chala Katappa ne Bahubali ko kyun maara tha,” tweeted Sehwag. Though it can be taken on a lighter note, Prabhas’s fans are offended by Sehwag’s tweet and are trolling him on social media.

Adipurush was released on June 16 and received a unanimous negative response from the audience. Directed by Om Raut, this film featured Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles. The film faced widespread criticism from audiences who felt it distorted the mythological epic, Ramayana. The film’s poor visual effects and poorly written dialogues were heavily criticized.

To make matters worse, the film’s collections plummeted significantly after its first weekend. Overall, Adipurush has become one of the year’s biggest commercial failures this year.
