Amidst wide-spread divorce rumours on social media platforms, former heroine Asin Thottumkal has responded.
Rumours were rife when some pictures of Asin and her husband Rahul went missing on her Instagram profile. This led to divorce rumours going viral for the past couple of days. Responding to these divorce rumours, she shared on her Instagram stories, “Please do better.” She even said she has wanted five minutes of her time in clarifying these baseless rumours.
Asin along with husband Rahul is on vacation with her family. She clarified, “In the middle of our summer holiday right now, literally sitting across each other enjoying our breakfast and came across some very imaginative and utterly baseless ‘NEWS’. Reminds me of the time we were sitting at home together with our families planning our wedding and we heard that we had broken up. Seriously?! Pls, do better. (Disappointed to have wasted 5 mins of an otherwise wonderful holiday on this!) Have a great day you guys.” Asin chose a background image of a clear blue sky.
Asin married businessman-Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma in January 2016. After having a successful career in southern films, Asin made her Bollywood debut opposite Aamir Khan in the 2008 film Ghajini. She has quit her acting career after her marriage. The couple has a daughter named Arin, born in 2017.
