Megastar & Superstar Challenging Project-K?

One of the biggest shockers that we are hearing in recent times is none other than the postponement of Superstar Prabhas’ Project K from Sankranthi.

Though the likes of Tammareddy Bharadwaja have stated that the film might hit cinemas in the Summer of 2024, the makers are sticking to the January 12th release deadline only. And here goes the twist now.

While Project-K is yet to confirm their date again, it is now coming out that two big stars, Megastar Chiranjeevi and Superstar Mahesh are also eyeing Sankranthi 2024 only. Mahesh’s Guntur Kaaram which is being directed by Trivikram already started to roll and other day they have completed another schedule as well.

Reports are doing rounds that this film will also target the Sankranthi date only. At the same time, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film to be directed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala will be rolled this month’s end and will be shot at a superior pace such that it will also release on the Sankranthi eve.

While this itself is a surprise, long-delayed VFX movie, Prashant Varma’s Hanu-Man also today announced that they are coming on January 12th, 2024. At the same time, Nani’s 30th film, which is being directed by newcomer Shouryuv, will also hit cinemas on Sankranthi eve only as per the current plans. Then we have Vijay Devarakonda and Parasuram’s Family Star, which is also eyeing the same date.

We have to see how many of these movies will make it to theatres on the said date, while Guntur Kaaram and Hanu Man are certain of the Sankranthi season.
