Set against the backdrop of Gujarat several decades ago, the film is said to be a romantic drama filled with intriguing twists and turns. The team is planning to lock ‘Thandel’ as the title.

Chandoo Mondeti and his team have reportedly conducted extensive research to develop an authentic and captivating script for the project. Thandel means The headman of a fishing boat, and their community lives in big numbers in Gujarat.
