Director-producer Surya Kiran, who was recently ousted from Bigg Boss Telugu season 4 through elimination, has revealed his past. He reasoned that film production was the reason for his downfall. He confessed that he had lost about Rs 10 crore due to film production.
However, Surya Kiran is confident of bouncing back and he hasn’t given up his production plans yet. This time he is confident that he has learnt his mistakes and he would succeed.
Surya Kiran is all set to launch his next directorial which will be produced by his home banner. Titled Sutradhari, the film will be made with new cast. He said the film was supposed to be launched on March 25th but due to Covid, his shooting plans have taken a hit. Surya Kiran said more details about the film would be revealed soon.
Meanwhile, Surya Kiran said he has got 65 scripts ready. He is looking for a good comeback. Surya Kiran’s claim to fame was ‘Satyam’ with Sumanth and Genelia in 2003.
The film was his debut directorial and it won critical acclaim as well as commercial success. It was produced on a decent budget by Nagarjuna under the Annapurna Studios banner and it got good returns. However, Surya Kiran’s subsequent films had failed to succeed.
