Two of the biggest upcoming Tamil films that are going to be released in the coming days are none other than Vijay’s Leo and Rajnikanth’s Jailer. While one has Lokesh Kanagaraja directing it, the other is being carved by Nelson. But the problem is not that, it is music director Anirudh who is scoring for both these movies.
The first singles from these two movies, Leo and Jailer which are composed by Anirudh haven’t taken the internet or music lovers by storm. Recently Leo’s first single, Naa Ready, which was sung by Vijay himself, was released but it didn’t score big like previous collaborations of Anirudh and the hero. Similarly, other day we have the Kaavaala song from Rajni’s Jailer got released, except for the routine glamour show of Tamannaah, the song hasn’t got attention. And now, this feedback is actually worrying director Korala Siva.
Ditching his go-to music composer Devi Sri Prasad, already Koratala Siva broke the pattern for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya and now he has picked up Anirudh for Devara. As Anirudh’s latest tunes are not up to the mark, many are wondering what Siva is actually getting readied for Jr NTR’s movie.
Whether it is due to work pressure or due to handling too many films at the given point, it looks like the quality of Anirudh’s work is coming down. Hope that is not going to affect NTR’s film and Koratala Siva will not accept any song that is less than a chartbuster.
