Fans are already engaged in heated discussions on social media platforms, debating which superstar will emerge as the ultimate winner. With their massive star power and highly anticipated projects, Jawan and Salaar have become two of the most-awaited Indian films in 2023.

Fresh from the success of his spy thriller Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to storm the box office once again with Jawan. The recently released high-intensity Jawan Prevue has created a storm across the nation, captivating viewers with its bald look, intense action sequences, and a star-studded cast featuring Nayantara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, and Sanaya Malhotra. Directed by Atlee, Jawan is slated for a multi-language release on September 7, adding to the excitement among fans.

Meanwhile, Prabhas is pinning his hopes on Salaar after a series of underwhelming performances at the box office. Riding high on the thundering success of the KGF series, director Prashanth Neel is expected to deliver another action-packed thriller with Salaar. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on September 28, adding to the clash of these two much-awaited films.

The battle between Jawan and Salaar is not just limited to the big screen; it has spilled over onto social media platforms, with fans passionately defending their favorite stars and engaging in comparisons and debates. As the release dates draw closer, the competition between Shah Rukh Khan and Prabhas fans intensifies.

Regarding business, Jawan has already created a buzz by securing a staggering Rs 250 crore from its rights. T-Series has acquired the film’s selling and music rights, and there are ongoing discussions with streaming giant Netflix for the digital rights, with producers reportedly quoting a hefty sum of Rs 250 crore. On the other hand, makers of Hombale Films, the production house behind Salaar, are quoting Rs 200 crore for the release rights of the Telugu version, aiming for a massive pre-release trade of Rs 400 crore.

As the box office journey begins, the level of interest shown on platforms like BookMyShow is a gauge for the hype surrounding the films. Surprisingly, Salaar currently holds a substantial lead over Jawan in terms of user interest. Salaar has garnered 189.3K likes, while Jawan has received 112.7K interests on BookMyShow, indicating the strong buzz and excitement around Prabhas’ action-packed venture.

On the other hand, Jawan Prevue fell short of Salaar Teaser by a distance. The anticipation for Jawan is high, but couldn’t surpass Salaar: Cease Fire day 1 record on YouTube.

Both Jawan and Salaar possess the potential to smash existing box office records, not only in India but also in overseas markets. As fans eagerly await the release of these mega-blockbusters, the clash between Shah Rukh Khan and Prabhas at the box office promises to be an exhilarating battle, pitting two cinematic powerhouses against each other.
