Of late, Telugu native heroines could be seen coming up with lots of complaints regarding the film industry, no matter how they are doing.
While Mumbai based hotties or north Indian girls are cruising in the industry, they rarely do complaints at the time of their career growth, but then, Telugu beauties are giving a shock in that aspect.
‘Balagam’ fame, child artist turned heroine, Kavya Kalyanram is the latest to join the bandwagon, saying that many filmmakers have insulted her regarding her looks. In some promotional interviews recently, she told that some producers and directors body-shamed her, saying that she’s too chubby and fat to become a leading lady. However, Balagam happened to her and she is playing the leading lady in Sri Simha’s upcoming film ‘Ustaad’ as well.
Recently another Telugu heroine Eesha Rebba also complained that TFI is not giving preference to Telugu-speaking natives but importing lots of others. Well, the industry reasons in a different way regarding the same.
On the other hand, another Telugu girl, YouTuber Vaishnavi Chaitanya felt that many Telugu girls don’t go to auditions and give a shot as they feel that Telugu beauties get rejected. But then, she’s quite confident that she made it to “Baby”, after eight years of hard work in the YouTube arena with an aspiration to become a heroine.
Well, let’s see more and more Telugu heroines come to Tollywood with a positive bent of mindset and terrific acting skills as well as a screen presence that could outshine non-Telugu heroines.
