When Tarak Fan Surprised Hardcore ‘Mega’ Fan

With the advent of social media, the fan wars that were earlier limited to some roadside chai shops and high-class boardrooms, have now flexed their muscles all over the society. On Twitter, Instagram and other social media, you do see them every day. And here is what producer SKN, who happens to be a hardcore mega fan and a former PRO, says about them, with an example.

“Loving one hero doesn’t mean hating another hero. Fans mean something special, as they give their unconditional love and valuable time of their life for the sake of a hero”, he says, giving an example about a Tarak fan who surprised him years ago. While promoting his latest movie ‘Baby’, SKN spoke exclusively to Gulte.com and shared interesting things.

During the release times of Taxiwala, a movie produced by SKN, a movie lover named Jagadeesh from Jangareddy Gudem is said to have called the mega-producer, informing them about the piracy version of the movie doing rounds. When SKN went there to have a look, Jagadeesh introduced himself as a hardcore Tarak fan, which puzzled the producer.

“I do ask him why is he helping me, even though I’ve not worked for any of Tarak’s films. He stated that fans are fans, and all the fans are collectively movie lovers; fans should help fans. That maturity and clarity amazed me” says SKN, as he further elaborated, “Some faceless anonymous users cater to just a minor percentage of fan wars on social media, but that is completely negligible”.

SKN attributed the viral trending of Baby movie’s songs and trailer to all the heroes’ fans. “When we can watch films of heroes from other states, why would Telugu fans be divided among Telugu heroes?” he says on a parting note.
