The actor from one of the most successful films of the year Balagam, Kavya Kalyanram came out denying the rumors being spread on her.
Kavya Kalyanram took it to Twitter to rubbish the rumors of being ‘body-shamed’ by directors. She wrote, ‘I have come across that suddenly a few major media houses are propagating irrelevant and untrue statements about me being body-shamed by directors, which I have never uttered. Requesting media to not spread such false statements. Thank you’.
Many media houses and web pages wrote that Kavya opened up on how she faced body shaming during her initial days while attending the auditions. The rumors mentioned that directors often told her she was chubby pr fat and that heroines needed to be slim and beautiful.
Kavya Kalyanram acted in several films like Gangotri, and Tagore as a child artist and she appeared in Masooda, Balagam and Ustaad recently.
