Adipurush Effect: OMG 2 Sent Back To Revision Committee?

Prabhas’ Adipurush received backlash like no other film in recent times. Many were upset with the making, dialogues, and visuals of Adipurush. The censor board also was criticized for letting the movie hurt Hindu sentiments. Now that another movie related to the godly concept is coming, the censor board is taking all care to avoid the ‘Adipurush’ experience.

Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 teaser was released the other day, with Akshay as Lord Shiva and Pankaj Tripathi as the devotee. According to the reports, the Censor board has decided to send ‘OMG 2’ to the revision committee for a comprehensive review.

The censor board wants the revision committee to go through the movie and keenly observe so they can mute or cut the controversial parts. Adipurush had to face the heat for the ‘street language’ of lord Hanuman before they were changed. The dialogue writer of Adipurus, Manoj Muntashir apologized for it later.

The first part of OMG was released in 2012 with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal in the lead roles. The movie was remade in Telugu with Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh.
