Day 1 Collections : Good Start Baby!

Youthful movie Baby did magic at the Box Office. Released as a small movie, the film opened big at the cinemas. Despite of the mixed reviews, the movie pulling a section of audience, especially youth to the theatres.

It received thunderous response to its early paid premieres and opening day and thus it brought cheers to its makers. Starring Anand Deverakonda, Vaishnavi Chaitanya, and Viraj Ashwin, the film directed by Sai Rajesh. However, the film seems to have struck a chord with youth audiences who are flocking to cinemas over the weekend to catch up with the intense love story.

The film reportedly collected Rs 7.1 crore gross at the box office on Day 1 including Thursday paid premieres. This is a massive opening for a small film like Baby. The trade circles are expecting the film to achieve the breakeven mark by the weekend itself and may enter into profits from Monday which is a welcome development. The songs have become successful which are pulling the youth audiences.

SKN has produced the film and pocketed profits even before the release. Distributors and exhibitors too would rejoice if they pocket profits. So, the real test begins on Monday. How the film performs in the next week and how it sustains decides the film’s total run at the BO.
