Sr Heroine’s Satire On Pathaan Collections?

With more than ₹1000+ crores ‘gross’ collection, Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s last outing ‘Pathaan’ has proved what a properly cooked commercial potboiler could do at the box office. Though there are some talks here and there that collections provided by the makers of Pathaan are a bit inflated, some independent trade observers also certified that the film posted more than a thousand crores in collection.

Other day, while promoting her latest web series the ‘The Trial’, senior heroine Kajol interacted with the media. When the topic shifted to Shah Rukh Khan as Kajol-SRK happen to be that iconic pair from DDLJ, the actress stated that she is looking forward to doing another romantic song with him. However, she said, “If I meet him now, the first question I would ask him is, what are the real collections of Pathaan?”.

While that is a comment aimed to find out the really real collections of the film, or a jibe at the Pathaan hero (indirectly hinting that they are inflated), Kajol’s comments didn’t go well with the fans of the actor. As this comment of Kajol got out, she is getting brutally trolled by SRK’s fans and slammed by trade pundits as well.
