Chaitu Stays Away From OTT Temptations!

The film industry is still facing the wrath of the coronavirus pandemic. The theaters across the country are shut for the last six months. As there are no chances of them reopening with full capacity anytime soon, many producers are opting for a direct digital release.

Already, big films like Penguin, V and Nishabdham have opted for the digital path. Now, plans are being made to release Naga Chaitanya’s Love Story on an OTT platform as well.

We hear that major OTT platforms are offering lucrative prices to acquire the film’s rights. We hear that the producers are keen on releasing it online but Naga Chaitanya is not showing any interest.

Love Story is being directed by Shekhar Kammula. Sai Pallavi is the female lead in it. It was a long time dream for Chaitanya to act in the direction of Kammula.

He feels that if this movie becomes a success, it will make him enter the top league of actors in Tollywood. Thus, Chaitanya feels the film needs to be released online.

Apparently, Shekhar Kammula also asked the producers to ask for Chaitanya’s opinion. As said earlier, it seems that the actor asked producers not to go for an OTT release and wait for the theaters to reopen.
