Superstar Picked That Director Over Bimbisara Maker?

Superstar Rajnikanth, even at the age of 72, is not slowing down as he is doing projects continuously without taking many breaks. Currently, he is awaiting the release of Jailer, which is crafted by Nelson, and wants to kickstart his next as soon as this movie releases in August’s second week. So, which director’s movie he is taking it up?

There was a buzz all these days that director Vassisht Mallidi of “Bimbisara” fame has already narrated a story to Rajnikanth and their combo is in the offing. After watching Bimbisara, Rajni himself invited the director to meet him at his Chennai residence and congratulated him. However, it looks like Vassisht’s film with the Superstar is not taking off as the godly hero given a go for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s movie.

After scoring a gigantic hit with “Vikram”, Lokesh is the director every superstar wants to work with, and he started Vijay’s “Leo” and wrapped it too. Once the trailer of Leo gets released, we hear that Lokesh will start working on Rajnikanth’s 171st film. That means Vassisht has to wait for a year at the least to kickstart his project with the demi-god.

Meanwhile, Vassisht is working on stories for both Megastar Chiranjeevi and global star Ram Charan as well, and one of them might get rolling soon.
