Where Is Kamal Haasan In The Teaser?

The much-awaited teaser of “Kalki 2898 AD” was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con, and it has garnered a global attention. The teaser received overwhelming praise on social media, but some fans noticed that Kamal Haasan, who plays the villain in the film, seemed to be missing from the initial footage. It is worth noting that Kamal signed the film to play the antagonist.

With the teaser missing the charismatic screen presence, fans asked the film’s director Nag Ashwin the same.

Nag Ashwin then clarified that the legendary actor is, in fact, present throughout the teaser, but his role has been kept under wraps, creating an element of mystery. Kamal also affirmed that the teaser does feature his character and that Nag Ashwin’s vision is to keep the surprise intact.

The film’s release date was initially set for January 12, but there have been speculations that it may be postponed. But, the official confirmation on the same is yet to come out.
