An upcoming big-ticket entertainment is getting ready for next week’s release, but then, some issues regarding the postproduction are said to be giving tense moments for the producers at the given moment.
This is regarding the final background score and the mix-mastered ‘dolby atmos’ sound, and here goes an interesting snippet.
Apparently, the film’s director and the writer had a fallout recently after watching the first cut of the movie. Since then, as the writer is not involved in the movie, the music director who happens to be a close aide of the writer, is also not responding properly regarding the work, say insiders.
He’s said to be not picking up the calls of the director and is sending music tracks to DI suite directly, rather than calling the director for feedback and doing modifications as per the director’s vision.
With only a few days left for the release, this kind of absconding by the music director is said to be testing the patience of producers as well and if things don’t go well in the next couple of days, they are said to be planning to approach the star of the movie for a quick resolution. Hope the conflicts get resolved and the film’s final output won’t get affected by this.
