Decoding The Strategy Of Koratala For NTR’s Devara

Young Tiger Jr NTR and director Koratala Siva are meticulously working on their latest collaboration, “Devara.” The film, which began production in March, features NTR in the titular role, and the team has been progressing rapidly. What’s become the talk of the town is that the duo has prioritized to can the action sequences first, and the majority of the film is filled with such high-octane sequences.

Director Koratala Siva reportedly did a lot of homework and has primarily focused on shooting action sequences with NTR and the fighters and key scenes involving NTR and Saif Ali Khan. These sequences were filmed in RFC (Ramoji Film City) and Taher Studio in Samshabad, Hyderabad. Notably, an impressive ship set with massive blue screens as the backdrop has been constructed at the Samshabad studio.

The onlookers consider this a strategic move by the team to finish the lengthy action sequences first as it would ease off the emotional and physical burden off the actors, who later can focus well on the drama sequences.

This approach also allows the post-production team ample time to finish the VFX and ensure the highest quality output well in advance.

“Devara” is jointly produced by Sudhakar Mikkilineni under his Yuva Sudha Arts banner and Kalyan Ram’s NTR Arts. Janhvi Kapoor is making her Telugu debut with the film. Anirudh Ravichander will be composing the music for the film. The film will release next year.
