Is This Danush’s Ticket To Pan-India Victory?

Tamil star Dhanush is hailed as a terrific actor across the nation and his direct films in Hindi and Telugu have become superhits like his Tamil movies, proving the craze he has. That said, the talented actor hasn’t scored any big pan-India hit like his contemporaries. But now he’s said to have got that ticket in hand.

Other day the teaser of Danush’s upcoming film “Captain Miller” got released, whose posters have already become a talking about. Directed by Arun Matheswaran, the film’s teaser packed a punch for its adventurous edit cut, background score and terrific sound design. Also the rugged and raw fight against the British with some choicest of weapons, and in all likelihood, Danush’s terrific screen presence with the cameo of Kannada Superstar Siva Rajkumar has just added a great vibe to the whole package.

As the content had this global appeal, surely an engaging narrative would make the film a great watch for viewers across Telugu, Tamil, and the rest of the Hindi hinterlands too. As the film’s story revolves around early freedom fights with the British by various rebel leaders, surely the patriotic appeal of ‘Captain Miller’ might click a chord.
